Due to this, mustard harvesting in the fields was disrupted and the standing wheat crop was also destroyed. Wheat harvesting is yet to begin. The sudden change in weather patterns has caused losses to the farmers.
Farmers have also started harvesting early wheat. Farmers are insisting on early harvesting so that mustard and wheat do not get spoiled in case of rain and storm. Mustard is arriving in the market. On Friday, due to strong wind and light drizzle, the storage of mustard and other grains in the market increased. There was no chaos like situation on Friday due to less arrival of mustard.
