Work to widen the road connecting Noida Airport begins, Greater Noida Authority begins preparations

Flights are going to start from Noida Airport next year. Greater Noida Authority has started the work of widening 130 meter road to ensure easy access to the airport. In the first phase, the widening of 8 km road has been completed, now 9 km road will be widened further. Rs 50 crore has been sanctioned for this.

Greater Noida. Flights are set to start from Noida Airport next year. Greater Noida Authority has started preparations so that the residents of Noida, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida West can easily reach the airport and they do not have to face traffic jams.

The authority is widening the 130 meter road connecting Greater Noida West and Greater Noida. The authority has already completed the work of widening 8 km out of 27 km road, now it is going to widen nine km road further. Rs 50 crore has been sanctioned for this. Preparations are on to start work in January after completing the tender process.

Pressure will increase when the airport starts

Thousands of people from Greater Noida West, Noida Phase Three and Ghaziabad travel daily. After the airport starts, the traffic pressure will increase further. To deal with this, CEO of Greater Noida Authority NG Ravi Kumar decided to widen the road by 130 meters.

Work of the second phase will start

Work on this has already started. It is being built in different phases. The work of the first phase has been completed, under which the widening of 8 kilometers of road has been completed. Preparations are on to start the work of the second phase in January. Meanwhile, the tender process will be completed.

Work will be completed in six months

It will take 6 months from the start of the work to its completion. ACEO of Greater Noida Authority Prerna Singh said that in this phase, 9 kilometers of widening work will be done. It will take six months after the work starts. It is estimated that about 50 crore rupees will be spent. He said that the remaining 10 kilometers of work will be completed in the next phase.
