Virat Kohli gave his 12 offices on lease in Gurugram : Cricketer Virat Kohli has given office space of about 18,430 square feet to a company in Gurugram on rent for Rs 1.27 crore annually. This office space has been rented by corporate firm Mynd Integrated Solutions. This information has been received from documents received by real estate data analytics firm, CRE Matrix. Documents show that Kohli has rented about 12 office spaces in Reach Commercea Corporate Tower located in Sector 68, Gurugram. The total built up area of these office spaces is 18,430 square feet. Documents show that the deal was finalized at a monthly rent of around Rs 8.85 lakh per month.
According to the registration documents, stamp duty of around Rs 3.83 lakh was paid for this transaction, while Rs 50,010 was paid as registration fee. The transaction was completed through Vikas Kohli, the registered General Power of Attorney (GPA) holder of Virat Kohli. Vikas Kohli is the brother of Virat Kohli.
Stamp-duty registration for the transaction took place on June 22, 2023, but documents related to this transaction became available in March 2024. There was no immediate response from Virat Kohli and Mind Integrated Solutions to the questions sent by Moneycontrol on this news.
Documents show that the initial per square feet monthly rent for the deal is Rs 48, while a security deposit of Rs 57.19 lakh has been paid for the transaction. The documents also reveal that this office space comes with 37 parking slots.
The lease period is 9 years. Documents show that the lease started from March 28, 2023, while the deal rent started from July 1, 2023. As per the terms of the deal, rents will increase by 5% every year, the documents show. Whereas the maintenance fee for common area is Rs 14 per square feet per month.
Earlier in October 2022, Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma had rented an apartment in Mumbai’s Juhu area for Rs 2.76 lakh per month. The apartment is located in High Tide Building and comes with ocean view near Juhu Beach.
