Haryana Guest teachers Salary Increment: The government led by Chief Minister Manohar Lal has given a gift to the guest teachers of Haryana. The honorarium of guest teachers has been increased.
After this decision, guest teachers teaching in government schools in Haryana will now get more honorarium. Guest teachers will now get four percent increased salary. The increased rates will be applicable from July 1, 2024.
There are 15 thousand guest teachers in Haryana’s schools.
The government has increased the salaries of guest teachers on the lines of regular employees. Four percent increase in DA (dearness allowance) of employees has already been made.
About 15 thousand guest teachers are working in schools of Haryana. The BJP, in its 2014 election manifesto, had promised to regularize guest teachers after coming to power.
Guest teachers will not be removed in Haryana
However, BJP could not fulfill this promise due to legal reasons, but it has guaranteed jobs to these teachers by making a law in the Assembly. Under this law, guest teachers will not be removed, but like regular teachers, they will also be retired after completing 58 years.
