Gurugram. Ram Rameti Rameti Rame Rame Manorame, Sahasranama Tattulyam Ramnaam Varanne…. Devotion and faith in the life-consecration of Lord Shri Ram is visible in every temple to every house in the city. Not only this, saffron is fluttering in the streets and roads of the city.
The slogans of Jai Shri Ram are being echoed and the name of Ram is being chanted. At some places the story of Shri Ram is being narrated and at some places Havan-Yagya is being performed.
There is no street or temple in the city where the name of Ram is not being chanted at this time. After waiting for so many years, people of every age group are immersed in the name of Ram, considering themselves lucky for the Shri Ram temple being built in Ayodhya.
Lessons from Ramcharit Manas will resonate in 800 temples of the city
Ramcharit Manas will be recited in every temple of the city. In some temples, a grand court of Lord Ram has been decorated and in some places, preparations are being made to take out tableaux. On January 21, tableaux related to the birth of Lord Ram will be taken out at many places and people will be given the message to celebrate Maha Diwali.
Sunderkand will be recited in many temples. The lessons of Ramcharit Manas will resonate in about 800 temples. Sunderkand will be recited in the morning at Shri SN Siddheshwar Temple. After this Diwali will be celebrated in the evening.
Prem Mandir, Geeta Bhavan, Ghanteshwar Temple, Bhuteshwar Temple, Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple, Temple located in village Jharsa, Ram Temple located in Sector-4, Shri Krishna Temple, Shri Shyam Temple located in New Colony, Bhim Nagar Geeta Saar and Shri Krishna Temple, Shri Krishna located in Char Marla.
Temple, Hanuman Temple located in Shivaji Nagar, Arya Samaj Temple located in Char Marla, Geeta Gayatri Dham, Shirdi Sai Baba Temple located in DLF Phase 3, Cave Shiva Temple, Tulip Temple located in Sector-70, Shri Krishna Temple located in Sector-10A, Village Jamalpur Temple. Ramcharit Manas, Sunderkand will be recited in the temples of other sectors.
Maha Diwali will be celebrated
Maha Diwali will be celebrated in the city on the day of Ramlala’s life consecration. The entire city will be seen illuminated with lamps. Preparations are being made for this on a large scale. Lakshmi Kant, priest of Shri SN Siddheshwar Temple, said that Maha Diwali will be celebrated with 21 thousand lamps on January 22.
3100 lamps will be lit near the small school in Ramlila Ground of village Jharsa. There will be Bhandara in every temple. Many social service organizations are also coming forward for the name of Ram and organizing bhandaras and kirtans etc. at various places.
Procession will be taken out today
A procession will be taken out across the city on Sunday. Chants of Jai Shri Ram will echo on every road from morning till evening. In the evening, a decorated palanquin of Lord Ram will be taken out in a procession in the ISKCON temple located in Sector-67 and after this there will be a 12-hour kirtan in the name of Hari. Other temples and social organizations of the city will jointly take out processions in their respective areas.
