A major accident was averted in Haryana’s Rohtak district. Loharu SDM Manoj Kumar’s Bolero car caught fire suddenly while he was moving. The SDM and his driver jumped out of the car and saved their lives, although both of them suffered minor injuries. After the accident, the Bolero was completely burnt to ashes. The car was reduced to ashes within a few minutes. Thankfully, there was no loss of life in the accident.
AC suddenly stopped working
The incident took place near Khairdi Mor on Kalanaur-Bhiwani road. The Bolero car belonged to Loharu SDM office, which was being driven by a driver and Manoj Kumar was riding in the car. As soon as they reached near Khairdi Mor, the AC of the car suddenly stopped. Before the driver could understand anything, smoke started rising and within a few moments the fire broke out. The SDM and the driver immediately jumped out and saved their lives. The people around tried to extinguish the fire but the terrible fire could not be controlled and the car was completely burnt. After this, the police and fire brigade were informed. By the time the fire brigade vehicle arrived, the car had already burnt. After the accident, the administration has ordered an investigation into the matter.

SDM Manoj Kumar Dalal took charge on August 20, 2024. Manoj Dalal, a 2019 batch HCS officer, was transferred from Tosham and posted as Loharu SDM. Prior to this, he has served as CEO in Zila Parishad Hisar, Kaithal, Bhiwani and Mahendragarh and as ADC Bhiwani and Tosham SDM.
