Lok Sabha Elections 2024: The Returning Officer in Gurugram said that nomination papers of the candidates will be filed from 11 am to 3 pm till May 6. Meanwhile, Sunday May 5 has been kept as a holiday. Nomination papers will be scrutinized on May 7 at 11 am. Candidates can withdraw their nomination papers till 3 pm on May 9.
Congress candidate Raj Babbar filed his nomination on Friday. Returning Officer of Gurgaon Parliamentary Constituency Nishant Kumar Yadav said that a total of three nominations have been filed on the fifth day of the nomination process.
This includes Indian National Congress candidate Raj Babbar, Swayam Shashan Party candidate Dharmendra Thakran and independent candidate Singh Ram. Apart from this, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Rao Inderjit Singh has submitted the fourth set and Indian National Congress candidate Raj Babbar has submitted his second set.
Nominations will be filled till May 6
The Returning Officer said that nomination papers of the candidates will be filed from 11 am to 3 pm till May 6, meanwhile May 5 has been kept as Sunday holiday. Nomination papers will be scrutinized on May 7 at 11 am.
Candidates can withdraw their nomination papers till 3 pm on May 9. After this, election symbols will be allotted on May 9 itself at 3 pm. Nominations will be taken in the DC Court Room located at the Mini Secretariat.
