Online land registration will begin in all tehsils and sub-tehsils of Gurugram district from November 3rd. This will make the registration process completely paperless. People will no longer need to visit government offices for land registration.

All property registration work will be done online. Those buying or selling land will have to come in to have their photographs taken. Following the government’s order, the district administration is busy preparing. This new system will allow people to complete the entire process online from home. This includes verification using Aadhaar and OTP, online stamp duty and registration fees payment, and booking an appointment with the sub-registrar. This new system will eliminate the possibility of fraud.

Online Registration Process: According to the District Revenue Department, login to the https://eregistration.revenueharyana.gov.in/ portal and verify your identity using Aadhaar or OTP.

The new rule will provide the following benefits to people:
All documents in tehsils will be digitized, eliminating the need for physical documents. This will increase transparency due to Aadhaar linkage and video recording. This will eliminate the possibility of fraud in tehsils. People can complete the entire process from home or on their mobile phones, saving time. Registration fees and stamp duty can only be paid online.

Helplines are available.
For technical assistance regarding the new system, people can contact the helpline number 1800-180-2137. They can also email nodalofficer-it@revhry.gov.in. The Revenue Department has also established district-level help desks to assist users during the transition period.

Registrations take place daily.
