Gurugram news: Police has arrested three accused in the case of kidnapping and looting a B.Tech second year student. The accused committed the crime to fulfill their girlfriend’s demand and for drugs. The miscreants thought that the student would get scared of their threats and would not go to the police. Police has recovered the looted iPad, PlayStation and the car used in the kidnapping from the accused. Police has produced all the three accused in the court and taken them on one day police remand. During this time, the looted money and other gadgets will be recovered from the accused.
Let us tell you that the police team of Sector-56 arrested the three accused Tilak Tewatia, resident of Meerapur Palwal, Bhanu of Shiv Colony Palwal and Gaurav of Dholagarh Palwal on Thursday night. Tilak Tewatia lived on rent in Gurugram with his friends Bhanu and Gaurav. All three are addicts to drugs. To fulfill the demand of their girlfriend, the accused kidnapped and committed robbery. They knew that the victim was rich. In such a situation, they had planned to carry out this incident.
Know what was the whole matter
On August 28, a B.Tech second year student of Gurugram University living in Sector-55 was kidnapped from his PG. Both the parents of the victim are renowned doctors in Palwal. In such a situation, Atharva is financially strong. His friend Pankaj from Palwal arranged a meeting with three acquaintances. But Atharva did not like their nature due to their addiction to drugs. Due to which Atharva also asked his friend Pankaj to keep distance from them. On August 28, one of the three accused Tilak Tewatia called Atharva and asked where he was. On the call, Atharva told that he was returning from the university and going to the PG. After which all three accused reached his PG in a car.
Kidnapped from PG
The accused kidnapped him from PG and looted his valuable gadgets, cash in his bank account by threatening to kill him. The accused even sold his sports bike worth Rs. 8.5 lakh and divided the money between them. After which the accused left him on Golf Course Road at 11 pm and fled. In this case, police had registered a case on the complaint of the victim.
