In this regard, the government of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini is preparing a blueprint of the scheme.’ Under this initiative, eligible applicants without land will get plots of 100 square yards in the villages.
Who will benefit
According to the statement, the government has made a provision to assist the beneficiaries in building houses on these plots of 100 square yards. Financial assistance will also be provided under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) to help the beneficiaries build their own house. It said that Director General of the ‘Housing for All’ Department J Ganesan held a meeting with the officials of the department to give necessary guidelines.
Ganesan said that the objective of the Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme is to provide plots to those low-income families in the state who do not have their own house. The aim of this scheme is to benefit these families so that they can build their own house.
