Haryana Private School Free Admission: There is good news for parents waiting for free school admission in Haryana. The admission process under Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Chirag Yojana is going to start in your state from February 2025. Under the EWS category, students from class 1 to 3 will get the benefit of free education under the Right to Education Act (RTE). At the same time, under the Chirag scheme, government assistance will be provided to students from class 4 to 12.
What is Haryana Chirag Yojana?
This is a scheme run by the Haryana government, which can be availed by students from class 4 to 12. However, under this scheme, those students will get benefits whose family’s annual income is less than Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand. Haryana government will provide assistance of Rs 700 per month to students of class 4th and 5th, Rs 900 to class 6th to 8th and Rs 1100 per month to students of class 9th to 12th for studying in private schools of the state.

The admission process has started in schools in Delhi and Chandigarh. Now in Haryana too, the admission process will start for providing free or reduced fees education to EWS category students in private schools. At the same time, the process will be completed as soon as the new session starts under the Chirag Yojana.
In the first phase, consent will be given for admissions through the website of Haryana Education Department. After this, the concerned schools will give information about the seats, only after which the application process will start. In schools where more applications are received than the seats, lucky draws will be taken out in that situation.
District Elementary Education Officer Muniram said that no date has been finalized for admissions yet. Whenever it is decided by the department, information about Haryana EWS Admission Date 2025 and the date of admission from Chirag Yojana will be released for parents and students.
