A man opened fire on his girlfriend in Gurugram. Police have arrested the accused. The woman had stopped talking to him. According to police sources, the accused was in an unrequited love for the victim.
A man in Gurugram committed a horrific crime due to unrequited love. A man shot a young woman with a pistol while she was on her way to work in the village of Dundahaeda on Thursday at around 10 am. The injured woman was immediately admitted to the Civil Hospital in Sector 10. Her condition is stable. Police said the woman had stopped talking to the man for the past few days. This angered him and he committed the crime.
The woman, from Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, works for a private company in Phase 4 of Udyog Vihar, Gurugram. She lives in a rented house in the Dundahera area. In a complaint filed with the police at the hospital, the victim stated that at 10 a.m. on Thursday, she was leaving her room to put on her shoes for work when she saw 33-year-old Vipin, a resident of Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh.
The victim stated in her complaint that the accused, Vipin, forcibly asked her to enter his room, but when she refused, he threatened her with a pistol. He threatened to shoot her if she did not enter the room. When the victim did not enter, he shot her. The bullet struck her shoulder. It is reported that the woman and the accused were previously friends.
The woman had stopped talking to Vipin for a few days. Angered by this, he committed the crime. Sources believe that the accused, driven by unrequited love, committed the crime. Upon receiving information about the incident, Udyog Vihar police arrived at the scene and arrested the accused. Police also recovered the pistol used in the crime from his possession. Doctors said that the girl’s condition is out of danger.
