Gurugram News: A case of rape has come to light with a girl student studying in a coaching institute in Gurugram, Haryana, adjacent to Delhi.
In this case, an employee of the coaching institute has been arrested by the local police station for ‘raping’ an 18-year-old student in the center premises. Gurugram Police said that this happened two days ago at the Computer Coaching Institute located at Jamalpur Chowk. The police is busy taking further action in this matter.
Gurugram Police said that an employee of the coaching center located at Jamalpur Chowk was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly raping an 18-year-old student for two days. According to the police station, the accused was arrested on Tuesday and presented in the court on Wednesday. The accused has been identified as 38-year-old Umesh Yadav.
Police took action after receiving the complaint
Gurugram Police said that this incident took place two days ago at the Computer Coaching Institute located in Jamalpur Chowk, Gurgaon. According to the Indian Express report, the accused had raped the victim in a room above the center on Saturday. Later, when she went to the institute, he raped her again on Sunday. The accused had also threatened to kill the victim if she told her family or informed the police. The girl informed her siblings and mother about the incident and lodged a complaint on Monday evening.
Case registered under 376B
An official of Gurugram Police said that after the incident, the girl along with her brother and sister reached the police station to lodge a complaint. An FIR was registered under section 376B of the IPC at Farrukhnagar police station on Tuesday and Yadav was arrested. The police is engaged in further action in this matter.
