Gurugram News: Water supply will remain closed for 36 hours in these areas of Gurugram city. Let us tell you, with the onset of summer these days, drinking water consumption has also increased in Gurugram city. Meanwhile, in many areas of the city, drinking water supply to homes from Water Treatment Plant Basai and Sector 16 Boosting Station Gurugram will remain closed from 10 am on Monday to 10 pm on April 9. Water crisis may increase due to stoppage of drinking water supply for 36 hours during summer.

Drinking water supply will remain closed for 36 hours in many areas of the city. For the construction work of rain drain from Basai Chowk to Hero Honda Chowk, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) will supply drinking water to the houses from Water Treatment Plant Basai and Sector 16 Boosting Station Gurugram from 10 am on Monday to 10 pm on April 9. Supply will remain closed.

Drinking water supply will remain closed in these areas

During the shutdown period, villages Basai, Kadipur, Sirhaul, Chakarpur, Nathupur, Sikandarpur, Dundahera, Sukhrali, Gaushala Booster, Sector 37 and 34, Civil Lines, Hans Enclave, Sector 10A, Sector 14, Sector 16,17 18, Sector 15 Part Drinking water supply will be disrupted in sectors one and two, sectors 27, 28, 29, sectors 30, 31 and 32.

Apart from this, Sector 38, 39, 40, 41 and 43, Sector 45, 46 (partial), DLF Phase 1 to 4, Cyber City and Udyog Vihar Phase 1 and 2, besides South City-One, Sushant Lok-One and MG Road. There will be no water in the area.

Drinking water consumption increased in summer

These days, with the onset of summer in the city, drinking water consumption has also increased. The capacity of Chandu Budhera and Basai plants is 570 MLD and the water demand in the city has reached above 550 MLD. Water crisis may increase due to stoppage of drinking water supply for 36 hours.
