Gurugram news: Residents of Sector 57 are not getting enough water in the scorching heat.

Gurugram news: Gurugram. Residents of Sector 57 are not getting adequate amount of water in the scorching heat. Till 10 days ago, 18 lakh liters of water was supplied daily in this sector, but now it has reduced to about 14 lakhs. There is no water at all at the boosting station in this sector.

In such a situation, about four thousand families are facing inconveniences. The local RWA lodged a complaint in this regard with the Municipal Corporation and the GMDA on Tuesday. Urged them to improve the water supply.

Local residents Sandeep Dixit and Balbir Dhillon said that water has become a problem. Tankers have to be called every other day. The situation has worsened in the last 10 days. The number of houses in the sector has increased, but the quantity of water has not been increased.

Local residents Ranjit and Rajkumar told that due to non-availability of water, the day’s discussion has come to a standstill. There is no fixed time for the arrival and departure of water. We are forced to buy water tankers.

There was opposition to the installation of a water motor.

In this sector, water is supplied from the boosting station located in Sector 51 of GMDA. Water connection is provided to Sector 57 near Artemis Hospital. Due to being at a height, the water goes upside down when the lights go off. In such a situation, people tried to install a motor on Sunday by collecting donations at the boosting station to deliver water under pressure, but some villagers of village Wazirabad stopped it.

What does RWA head say?

About four thousand families are facing water problem. Municipal Corporation and GMDA need to find a solution to this problem soon.
