Gurugram. The Town and Country Planning Department is preparing to seal about 150 flats in C-2 Block of Palam Vihar for violating the map. These flats have been built on 10 houses. Regarding this, the department will request the District Deputy Commissioner to appoint police force and duty magistrate. These flats will be sealed in the presence of police force. Apart from this, legal action will be taken against the owners of these houses. A letter will be written again to the Tehsildar not to buy or sell these flats. The residents of C-2 Block of Palam Vihar are very upset with the construction of these flats. They allege that four families should live in one house, but these are being built for 14 to 16 families to stay. Due to this, problems of parking, electricity, sewer, water etc. will arise. Local residents have filed a petition in the Punjab and Haryana High Court in this regard. The High Court has sought a reply from the Town and Country Planning Department in this matter. Last month, outgoing DTPE Manish Yadav had sealed these under-construction houses, but they have broken the seal and started construction again. In such a situation, along with taking legal action against them, a case will also be registered.
All blocks of Palam Vihar will be surveyed
The Town and Country Planning Department has planned to survey all the blocks of Palam Vihar. Under this, a team will be formed soon. A complaint has been received in the DTPE office that apart from the C-2 block, flats are being constructed in other blocks. The DTPE has appealed to the people to cooperate in stopping these houses being built in violation of the map. Complaints regarding houses being built in this manner should be lodged in their office.
Action will be taken on flats sold in C-2 block
DTPE has issued orders to survey the flats in C-2 block in which people have started living. Apart from the builder of these flats, show cause notices will be issued to the flat owners. There is a plan to vacate these flats and seal them with the help of police.
According to the rules, four floors can be built in a house. There are about 10 such houses in Palam Vihar in which 14 to 16 flats have been built. In such a case, all of them will be sealed. A letter will be written to the Tehsildar to ban the sale and purchase of flats. A case will be registered against the builder who broke the seal of the flat.
