Gurugram. Officials have started rushing to strengthen health services in New Gurugram area. Officials have started planning at their level on the vacant land in Sector 67 Badshahpur.
The department is preparing to build a 200-bed government hospital here.
The Directorate has handed over GMDA land to the Health Department to build a government hospital. The health department will prepare the outline of the hospital here according to the needs of the district. For this, apart from the Chief Medical Officer, other senior officers have inspected the land.
Presently Health Wellness Center in New Gurugram is Wazirabad, Bhondsi, In an area like Badshahpur, only primary and middle level health services are available at the government level. In the last one to one and a half years, primary to middle level services have become available here. In such a situation, one has to travel about 15 kilometers to avail third class services at the government hospital level.
Virendra Yadav said that as per the announcement of CM, land for government hospital in New Gurugram has now become available. There are preparations to build a multi-specialty government hospital with at least 200 beds in Sector 67. The site for the hospital project has been inspected. In this area, facilities similar to the government hospital located at Civil Lines will be developed. This will restore health services in both new and old Gurugram areas.
