Gurugram. The passenger train running between Rewari-Gurugram-Delhi was stopped near Patli for more than half an hour due to power supply failure in its engine. While the train coming from Rewari towards Gurugram-Delhi stopped near Patli at around 7.15 in the morning, the passengers faced problems and the operation of many other trains was also affected. Passengers could not reach office or duty at their scheduled time. The train was delayed by more than an hour from its scheduled time.
Rewari-Delhi DMU passenger train left Rewari at around 5.38 am. Thousands of passengers going to work and employed were traveling in the passenger train. As soon as the train reached Patli station, the power supply to its engine stopped. In such a situation, the train was stopped on another track at the station. Mechanics of the Railway Department reached the spot and repaired the engine.
After which the train was delayed by about half an hour. Due to the malfunction in the train, anger increased among the passengers traveling in the train. However, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) team pacified the passengers by convincing them. Railway officials say that no other train was affected due to the malfunction in the passenger train.
