High alert has been issued in Millennium City Gurugram regarding the announcement of farmers’ proposed ‘Delhi Chalo’ on 13th February. In view of the deployment of 50 companies of central paramilitary forces in Haryana and the alert amid impenetrable security arrangements, arrangements are being made at the Gurugram-Delhi, Gurugram-Jhajjar and Gurugram-Rewari borders. If needed, other arrangements will be made along with barricading.

District head of United Kisan Morcha, Santokh Singh, said that he will not participate in the Delhi march on Tuesday, 13 February. Will participate in the Bharat Bandh being called by the United Kisan Morcha on 16th February. During Bharat Bandh, farmers will continue to struggle for making MSP law as well as for farmers’ pension. In such a situation, along with security, Gurugram Police is also monitoring social media, so that any wrong post does not spoil the atmosphere of the district. Apart from this, they are also keeping an eye on the farmer leaders.

Cyber police are monitoring the social media 24 hours regarding the farmers’ movement, so that the atmosphere does not get spoiled by any wrong post. Police are also using various tools so that those who post inflammatory posts can be identified and action can be taken against them.

Ban on mobile internet in seven districts of Haryana

At the same time, the Haryana government has banned mobile internet services and sending multiple SMS (messages) in seven districts on Saturday, ahead of the proposed ‘Delhi Chalo’ march of farmers on February 13.
