Gurugram Crime Cyber Thana East Police arrested an accused from Sector-43 in the case of cheating people in the name of getting them jobs in another country. He was identified as Jatin Joshi, a resident of Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh.
ACP Cyber Crime Priyanshu Diwan said that on the basis of the complaint, the accused Jatin was caught with the help of technology. He was currently living in RD City, Sector-52. A case has been registered against him under relevant sections.
He used to send interviews to his colleagues
During police interrogation, it was found that he used to work in a company. He used to contact people willing to work by taking their data through the website. He used to shortlist them after taking interviews to get them jobs abroad and send them to his other colleagues.
Mobile and laptop recovered from the accused
After this, money was taken from those people in the name of getting the necessary documents made. The police team has recovered a mobile phone and a laptop from the possession of the accused.
Big secrets can be revealed during interrogation
According to Gurugram Police, he will be questioned about his network during remand. It will also be ascertained since when he was committing such frauds. How many people has he cheated till now.
