According to the notification of Haryana Government, only three days are left to avail the benefit of interest waiver and 15 percent discount being given to the property owners of Municipal Corporation Gurugram area. Payment counters will remain open on Saturdays and Sundays at the Citizen Facilitation Centers located in all three offices of Municipal Corporation Gurugram.
Interest waiver on property tax
Instructions have been given to keep payment counters open till 12 midnight on Sunday. Let us tell you that Haryana Government had issued a notification to give complete interest waiver and 15 percent discount on the remaining amount to those who paid property tax till December 31. Now only three days are left to avail the benefits of this scheme.
Therefore, Municipal Corporation Gurugram has decided to keep payment counters open on Saturdays and Sundays also so that more property owners can take advantage of this opportunity. To avail the benefit of interest waiver and 15 percent rebate in property tax, it is mandatory to pay the entire outstanding property tax by self-certifying your property data on the NDC portal.
List of 500 defaulters ready
Municipal Corporation Gurugram has decided that action will be taken against those who are big property tax defaulters. Under this, in the first phase, a list of top 500 defaulters has been prepared and preparations have been made to take action against them. Along with cutting off the sewer water connection of their property, Municipal Corporation Gurugram can also take action to seal and auction the property.
