The accused took over the 300-yard house of former Bihar minister Professor Ravindra Charan Yadav in Gurugram’s Palam Vihar. The accused Lokesh Saini converted this building into a PG and rented out rooms to people. Ravindra Charan Yadav has been an MLA and minister for 15 years. A complaint was given to the Gurugram Police Commissioner in this case.
A case of encroachment on a 300-yard house of former Bihar minister Professor Ravindra Charan Yadav in Gurugram’s Palam Vihar has come to light. Accused Lokesh Saini had sold 2160 yards of land to former minister Professor Ravindra Charan Yadav in 2016.
This land was in the name of the former minister’s wife Pramila Kumari. In ten years, the former minister sold about 1700 yards of land out of 2160 yards. He built a five-storey building in 300 yards. It had 45 rooms. The former minister lives in Kidwaipuri, Patna. Therefore, he appointed Lokesh Saini as the caretaker of this land.
The former minister had sent Rs 95 lakh by cheque to Lokesh Saini in 2018 to build a five-storey building on 300 yards of land. In September 2023, when the former minister reached Gurugram to inspect the building, he came to know that Lokesh Saini had converted this building into a PG and gave it on rent to people.
Sold hundred yards of land to a youth from Faridabad
When the former minister asked about this, the accused threatened to kill him and asked him not to come there again. When the former minister inquired about the remaining land, it was found that the accused in collusion had also sold his hundred yards of land to a youth from Faridabad.
The complaint said that Ravindra Charan Yadav contested assembly elections six times and Lok Sabha elections once from Madhepura in Bihar. He has been an MLA and minister for 15 years. His wife Pramila Kumari had complained about this to the Gurugram Police Commissioner. After investigation, a case was registered at Palam Vihar police station on Wednesday.
