Gurugram News: Flats and plots will be expensive in Gurugram’s Pataudi-Heli Mandi and Farukhnagar, Cabinet approves change of zone

In the cabinet meeting held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, approval was given to change the zones of Pataudi, Heli Mandi and Farrukhnagar. After this decision, both flats and plots will become expensive in these areas.

After this decision, both flats and plots will become expensive in these areas. Apart from this, development will also happen here at a faster pace. New schemes will also be made and work will also be done at the ground level. Work will also be done on better connectivity of this area.

The Town and Country Planning Department has approved the revision of Pataudi-Haley Mandi and Farrukhnagar potential areas of Gurugram district from low potential area to medium potential area. The areas of Pataudi-Haley Mandi and Farrukhnagar (District Gurugram) presently fall under low potential area as per the schedule of Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Rules, 1976 which has prescribed different potential areas which are low, medium, high and high potential areas. These areas have great potential for development of colonies and other activities like institutions, industries, warehouses etc.

Government will give one crore rupees to the families of the martyrs:The Haryana government will now provide an ex-gratia of Rs 1 crore to the families of state army personnel and CAPF personnel killed in battle. The Haryana Cabinet has approved the revised compensation. This information was given in an official statement.

The external duty will increase by ten per cent every year

Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini in a cabinet meeting approved the amendment of the indexation mechanism for calculation of external development charges (EDC) of potential areas of the state. The indexation policy was based on EDC rates for the year 2015 and there was no increase in these till date. Before the indexation policy, EDC rates were increased by 10 per cent every year. The cabinet has approved the proposal to increase EDC rates by 10 per cent every year from now onwards.

These towns are very close to GMUC

Farrukhnagar and Pataudi-Haily Mandi towns are located very close to the hyper potential zone of Gurugram-Manesar Urban Complex (GMUC). Farrukhnagar has attracted a lot of attention from developers due to Reliance’s Model Economic Township, KMP Expressway and the rapidly developing railway network. Similarly, Pataudi-Haily Mandi also has a lot of potential for development due to its proximity to NH-8 and KMP Expressway.
