Gurugram news: The deadline of Shri Sheetla Mata Devi Medical College and Hospital being built in Sector-102 of Dwarka Expressway has been extended once again. Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has claimed that this project will be completed by March next year. The structural framework will be ready by the end of September this year. After this, finishing work will start. GMDA had allotted the tender for the construction of medical college and hospital to a company in April 2022. It should have been completed by July 31, 2024.
If it was not completed in this time period, its deadline was extended to October 31, but at present only 51 percent work has been done. In such a situation, GMDA officials are seeing that it will not be completed in this time period. Regarding this, its deadline has been extended to March 31. The construction of this project being built in about 30.75 acres will cost Rs 541 crore.
OPD, hospital and emergency block are being constructed in this project. Apart from nurses, girls and boys hostels are being built. 1.25 lakh square feet area is being constructed. Proper parking arrangements will be made in this project.
The construction work of Shri Sheetla Mata Devi Medical College and Hospital will be completed by March. Its structural framework will be ready by September.
