Gurugram. Chaitra fair will be organized at Sheetala Mata Temple from 26 March to 23 April. The Shrine Board has started preparations for organizing this fair. The Deputy Commissioner held a meeting of concerned officials and board members in the temple premises on Tuesday regarding the organization of Chaitra Fair. During this, CEO of Temple Shrine Board and SDM of Sohna, Sonu Bhatt was also present.
In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that being a major faith place of North India, more than eight lakh devotees are expected to attend the Chaitra Fair to be organized at Shitala Mata Temple. All preparations related to the event should be completed in time so that the devotees coming to the fair take away a better image of Gurugram city in their mind.
He instructed the board members and officials of various departments associated with the fair management that special care should be taken during the Chaitra fair on the three days of the week, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, when there is a large crowd of devotees. Apart from this, ensure proper security arrangements in the temple premises.
On this occasion, CTM Kunwar Vikram Aditya, OSD to DC Preeti Rawat, board members Ajit Beniwal, Arun Maheshwari, Brahmprakash, Raghubar Dayal, Ram Sajjan Singh, Yadram Bansal, Pooja Khetrapal, Pankaj, Dr. Pradeep from Civil Surgeon Office including GMCBL and others. Officials of the departments were present.
Health workers will be on duty 24 hours.
Considering the number of devotees coming to the fair, a medical post will be set up in the temple premises with the help of the Health Department, where health workers will be on duty 24 hours. Apart from this, ambulances will also be available 24 hours so that anyone with serious health issues can be taken to the nearest hospital as soon as possible. He also said that fire brigade vehicles will also be available 24 hours during the fair days.
