The enforcement branch of the District Planning Department carried out demolition drives in three unauthorized colonies in Raipur Kothada, Sohna village and Daula village. DTP Enforcement Manish Yadav said that action was taken after a complaint was received on the CM window about an unauthorized colony in an area of about four acres in village Sohna near Raipur Kothada. In this, 10 foundations and two under-construction structures were demolished.
Secondly, bulldozers ran in an unauthorized colony in an area of about two acres in Sohna village. In this, five foundations and one under-construction structure were demolished along with the road network. A newly built unauthorized colony named Lotus Group in Daula village, whose area is about eight acres. In this, 800 meters of stone road network was demolished.
In this, Dinesh Singh ATP was appointed as the duty magistrate. During the demolition, people gathered at the site and protested. Sohna police station removed them from the spot. The DTP told that one should not invest in such unauthorized colonies and they should contact the DTP’s office for any query before buying land/plot.
