Gurugram News: Due to lack of basic facilities in Sector-38, angry RWAs had announced to boycott the general elections. Protest was expressed by putting up boards in the entire sector. After the protest, the Municipal Corporation officials took cognizance. On Friday, Additional Commissioner Dr. Balpreet Singh held a meeting with the people of the sector and heard the problems of the people. It was assured that the basic facilities would be repaired as soon as possible as well as the problems would be resolved.
Positive results have emerged after the meeting in the sector on Saturday. Corporation officials started solving the problems of the sector. On Saturday, the electrical branch of the corporation has started the work of installing street lights at all the places in the sector. Which were black spots. The issue regarding these places was raised in the meeting by the RWA representatives.
On Friday itself, officials of the Electrical Branch visited the spot and inspected it and the work of installing street lights at the places indicated by the RWA has started on Saturday. Apart from this, the work of replacing the broken slabs has also been started at the places indicated by the RWA representatives.
On Friday, representatives of RWA of Sector-38 met the Additional Municipal Commissioner in his office. During this meeting, Joint Commissioner and Chief Engineer along with Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer were also present.
In the meeting, the Additional Municipal Commissioner, after listening carefully to all the problems of the RWA representatives, gave strict instructions to the officers on the spot to immediately start solving the problems. In compliance with these instructions, various works have been started in the sector on Saturday itself.
