Gurugram News: 14 commercial activities sealed in seven houses of DLF Phase II

Gurugram. The team of the District Town Planner Department on Tuesday sealed 14 illegal commercial activities in seven houses of DLF Phase II. These activities include real estate office, dog grooming parlour, cosmetic warehouse, property dealer, boutique, Commercial offices etc. were being run. The sealing drive was carried out in DLF Phase II under the leadership of DTPE.

Show cause notices and restoration orders were issued to more than 150 illegal commercial activities in DLF Phase II by DTP Enforcement but most of the activity operators neither gave satisfactory reply nor restored the property. On Tuesday, the sealing campaign was conducted under the leadership of DTPE Manish Yadav. During the sealing, 14 activities of about seven houses were sealed.

These activities were being carried out on Jacaranda Marg and Bougainvillea Marg. More than 800 notices have been issued by DTPE for running illegal commercial activities in residential houses of DLF Phase 1, 2, 3, 4, Sushant Lok 1, 2, 3, Suncity, South City Colony.

Five houses found empty

People have also started shutting down commercial activities after giving the notice. Out of the houses given notice during sealing, there were five houses in which commercial activities were found vacant. These activities were removed from here by the operators.

More than 80 applications received so far in non nuisance

So far, more than 80 applications have been received regarding permission for non-nuisance commercial activities in residential houses. Scrutiny of these files is going on. Any deficiencies being found in the files, Simultaneously, people are being informed about them by writing letters so that more and more people can take advantage of this rule. So far more than ten permissions have been given.

14 commercial activities have been sealed in DLF Phase II. The sealing campaign of the enforcement team will continue. There is an appeal to the people to stop these activities at their own level otherwise there will be no relief in the sealing action on the spot.
