Gurugram latest news: Bobby Kataria, arrested on charges of pigeon-flying and human trafficking, has been handed over to the police on a three-day remand by the court. The police have recovered cash worth Rs 20 lakh and four mobile phones and documents related to the crime from the accused. The police is interrogating the accused about other accused involved in this racket. On the other hand, the NIA is also investigating this case of human trafficking.
According to the police spokesperson, Arun Kumar, a resident of Fatehpur in UP and Manish Tomar, a resident of Hapur, in a complaint to the Bajghera police station said that they were unemployed and were in contact with YouTuber Bobby Kataria on Instagram.
After seeing an advertisement for getting a job abroad on the YouTube channel, they contacted Bobby Kataria. Bobby called them to his office in Sector-109. Arun Kumar met Bobby Kataria in his office on 1 February 2024 and got himself registered for two thousand rupees.
The police has said in the court that they will investigate on the basis of the transactions in the accounts of the accused and the details coming from his mobile. The CIA 10 team had produced the accused in the court and sought five-day police remand. On which the court has sent the accused on three-day police remand.
