Gurugram Crime: A case of smuggling of ganja through Amazon Company, which does online delivery of goods, has been caught. A seller from Odisha had sent a parcel to a person living in Ludhiana, Punjab through the company.
During the scan at the warehouse of the company’s transportation service located in Bhangrola, Gurugram, it was found that there were six kg of ganja in two parcels. Kherki Daula police have seized the goods and started investigation.
Suspicious found in scanning of the box
Amazon Transportation Service has a warehouse in Bhangrola village of Kherki Daula police station area. Warehouse in-charge Ajay Gupta said that the parcels being sent here were being scanned. Meanwhile, suspicion arose when there was a suspicious object in the scanning of two boxes. On this, he informed the police station.
Six kg of ganja was being sent to Ludhiana
When the box was opened during checking, ganja was recovered from it. Both the parcels were being sent in the name of Rajkumar Paramhans, a resident of Ludhiana, Punjab. About six kilograms of ganja was found in it. The police station said that in the preliminary investigation it was found that this parcel was booked by Anil Pani, a seller from Odisha.
