Gurugram crime: Crime in the name of KYC, four lakh rupees withdrawn from credit card.

Gurugram crime: In the name of KYC, a person was defrauded of Rs 4.45 lakh by sending a link to update the KYC of the credit card on the crime mobile. After getting the information, the victim has lodged a complaint at the Cyber Police Station Manesar. This amount was withdrawn from two credit cards. Half an hour later, the victim called 1930 and complained about fraud. After this a written complaint was also given in the police station.

Cyber ​​thugs defrauded a person of Rs. 4.4 lakh from the account of a person resident of Ward No. 15 of Pataudi by sending a link to update the KYC of his credit card on his mobile. After getting the information, the victim has lodged a complaint at the Cyber Police Station Manesar.

Hemant Gupta, resident of ward number 15 of Pataudi, said in his complaint that recently a link came on his mobile phone. It was written about updating KYC of credit card. When he clicked on this link and filled the information.

After this, Rs 3 lakh 74 thousand were withdrawn from his account four times. This amount was withdrawn from two credit cards. Half an hour later, the victim called 1930 and complained about fraud. After this a written complaint was also given in the police station. The police station has registered a case on Sunday and started investigation.

One lakh cheated in the name of online part time job

Cyber ​​thugs cheated a youth resident of Badshahpur of Rs 1 lakh in the name of online part time job. Cyber Police Station South has registered a case on the complaint of the victim.

In the complaint given to the police, Avinash, a resident of Gandhi Nagar, Badshahpur, said that recently there was an offer of part time job on WhatsApp. When he spoke, he was added to a group on the Telegram app. Initially some money was also transferred to him.
