Gurugram company gave one day leave to all its employees to recover from grief

The entire nation is saddened by India’s heart-breaking defeat against Australia in the World Cup final. It is becoming difficult for the fans to forget the defeat in the title match after excellent performance in 10 consecutive matches.

Taking this grief seriously, a company in Gurugram gave one day leave to all the employees so that everyone could stay at home and try to recover from it. On the other hand, the unit test was also postponed in a school in Faridabad.

Deeksha Gupta, a member of Marketing Moves Agency, shared her feelings on LinkedIn after India’s defeat and Australia’s 6-wicket win. He told how after keeping an eye on every activity of the World Cup, it is now difficult for him to bear this defeat. After this there was a new twist in the story. Next morning he sent another message which has now gone viral.

Deeksha wrote in the new post, ‘When I woke up this morning, I got a message from the boss that everyone has been given a day off to reduce the impact of the defeat. It was shocking and none of us could believe it until the email officially arrived. He also shared a screenshot of his boss’s message with this post.

Deeksha’s boss Chirag Alawdhi wrote in the message, ‘We accept the impact on our team due to India’s defeat in the ongoing World Cup. To provide some support at this time, the company has decided to give one day leave for rest. We believe this will provide everyone an opportunity to regroup and recover. We will come back stronger. Later this message was also sent to all the employees through email.
