In the board examinations conducted by the Haryana School Education Board, a case has come to light of making students sit on the ground to conduct the examination. A center for board examination has been set up in Joginder Public School located in Jakhopur village of Sohna block. Here students and their parents are complaining about being made to sit on the ground during the examination. Whereas, the Education Department has issued orders not to make students sit on the ground during examinations.
An examination center for class 10th has been set up in Joginder Public School located in Jakhopur village of Sohna block. The students and their parents said in their complaint that during the board examinations conducted in the current session, the students had given the papers sitting on the ground.
Students say that during this time they are not even given mats to sit. Children are taking the entire three-hour exam sitting on the floor without a mat. Last Saturday, during the Hindi exam, the children faced a lot of trouble because cold and dusty winds kept blowing throughout the day.
The children took the exam sitting on the floor without a mat for three hours. In this school, an examination center has been made for 310 students of both private and government schools. After the examination, the children came to their homes and told their parents that they were made to sit on the floor during the examination, due to which they could not complete their paper.
District Education Officer Captain Indu Bokan says that he has no information about making the children sit on the floor in the school and conduct the examination. In this regard, the Block Education Officer has been asked to investigate the school and prepare a report. Meanwhile, Block Education Officer Sumita Rangi has refused to say anything in this matter.
