Gurugram: Big news! 75 lakhs cheated on the pretext of good returns on investment in share market

Gurugram news: Thugs cheated Rs 75 lakh from a person by promising him good returns on investing in the share market. Cyber Police Station East has registered a case on the complaint. Skyland Apartment Sector 56 resident Gagan Anand told in his complaint to the police that on January 3, he had received a notification on Instagram to invest in the stock market. On clicking the link, one was joined in a WhatsApp group named Goldman.

It was reported that Jai, a senior consultant, was leading a WhatsApp group where he suggested various stocks/shares and talked about earning more money. The accused advised to earn more money by logging on to the Goldman Sachs mobile app called GSIN Timeline.

The victim fell into the trap of the accused and started investing money. The amount was deposited in this app through various account numbers suggested by the accused. The victim told the police that earlier he was earning profits and was also able to withdraw the amount from the app. In such a situation, I had gradually invested Rs 75 lakh in the app and now I was unable to withdraw money from the app. Police have registered a case.

27 lakhs cheated in the name of part time job

Gurugram. Cyber ​​thugs cheated about Rs 27 lakh from a young man in the name of part time job. Cyber police station East has registered a case. Vipin Yadav, resident of Sector 47, said that a message was received on WhatsApp on December 5, 2023. By clicking on the link, they were asked to earn more by doing part time job. He was then added to Telegram channels claiming to be a cryptocurrency trading advisor. The victim says he was lured into their false assurances of profitable investment.

The accused invested a total of Rs 27 lakh in several times. When he tried to withdraw the money, he realized that he had been cheated. Cyber police station is registering a case and taking information about various accounts, so that information can be obtained about the owners of those accounts. Correspondence is being maintained with the concerned companies for information about mobile numbers.
