Grap 3 restrictions in Gurgaon today latest news
Gurugram. With the harsh winter, pollution has increased significantly in Delhi-NCR. In view of the increasing pollution, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has decided to impose restrictions under Phase 3 of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). These restrictions have been imposed in Delhi including nearby cities Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram Faridabad.
Following the order of CAQM, the State Transport Controller of Haryana has banned BS-3 petrol & BS-4 diesel vehicles in Gurugram and Faridabad districts. These restrictions will remain in force till January 30.
Under Group 3 restrictions, all non-essential construction work and operation of BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel vehicles have again been banned in Delhi-NCR. The Commission directed the concerned state governments to ban BS-3 petrol and BS-4 diesel cars in Delhi and four districts of NCR (Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Gurugram and Faridabad). Apart from this, the rules of Group 1 and Group 2 will also remain applicable.
However, under this, projects related to basic services and security have been exempted from the ban on construction work. At the same time, work related to plumber, electrician, carpenter, furniture and interior can be done.
