Dwarka Expressway:  Before the implementation of the Election Code of Conduct, preparations are underway to commission the Gurugram portion of the Dwarka Expressway. Keeping in view the possibility of inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, NHAI is busy preparing day and night. NHAI Regional Officer Mohammad Safi and Project Director Akash Kumar inspected on Tuesday. During this time, he also took stock of the preparations day and night.

Gurugram part of Dwarka Expressway

Preparations are going on day and night to commission the Gurugram part of Dwarka Expressway. To ensure that there was no shortage of preparations at any level, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Regional Officer Mohammad Safi and Project Director Akash Kumar conducted the inspection on Monday.

Preparations in full swing to open the expressway

He told the personnel engaged in preparation that from safety point of view there should be no shortage at any level. Especially wherever there is a turn, people were asked to pay special attention to the road surface marking. Preparations are underway to commission the Gurugram (Dwarka Expressway) portion of the Dwarka Expressway before the implementation of the Election Code of Conduct.

PM Modi can inaugurate

Keeping in view the possibility of inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, NHAI is busy preparing day and night. Emphasis is being laid on the cleanliness and painting of the expressway. Special attention is being paid to road surface marking, so that drivers do not face problems.

Let us tell you that a 29 kilometer long Dwarka Expressway is being constructed at a cost of Rs 9,000 crore from near Khedkidaula Toll Plaza to in front of Shivmurti in Mahipalpur, Delhi. The expressway has been constructed by dividing it into two parts. 18.9 km of it falls in Gurugram, while 10.1 km falls in Delhi. The construction of Gurugram part has been completed.
