With the help of police, the DTPE team carried out a major demolition of illegal colonies in three villages of Nimot Chowki area. Many constructions were demolished in colonies spread over an area of more than an acre and the road network was also destroyed.

The team of District Town Planner Enforcement (DTPE) of Town and Country Planning Department in New Gurugram on Tuesday, with the help of police force, carried out a major demolition drive against illegal colonies in three villages of Nimot Chowki area under Police Station Sadar Sohna.
Entire road network demolished
According to DTPE, all these colonies were being illegally cut in the control area. The campaign was started from village Kiranki, where seven DPCs and five readymade boundary walls were demolished in a colony spread over an area of one acre. Along with this, the entire road network of the colony was demolished.
After this, the team reached village Sancholi, where yellow paw was used on four illegal colonies spread over an area of 11 acres. Here three under-construction structures, boundary walls of nine plots and the entire road network were razed to the ground.
100 meter long boundary wall demolished
At the same time, in the third phase, action was taken on an illegal colony located in village Daulha, which was spread over an area of six acres. Here, about 100 meter long boundary wall and the entire road network was demolished. During the operation, there was full deployment of police force along with the DTPE team, due to which the operation was completed peacefully and effectively.
