Congress’s Karnal Lok Sabha candidate Divyanshu Budhiraja was granted bail by the district court on Monday. Divyanshu Budhiraja, along with his supporters, had blocked the road while protesting at Khedikidaula toll in March last year in protest against the cancellation of membership of senior Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi. The court has granted him bail on a bond of Rs 50 thousand.
The district court has granted bail to Congress’ Karnal Lok Sabha candidate Divyanshu Budhiraja in the case of protesting by blocking the road at Khedikidaula toll in March last year in protest against the cancellation of Lok Sabha membership of former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi.
The court has granted him bail on a bond of Rs 50 thousand. This order has been given by the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class Rashmeet Kaur. In this case, on the complaint of ASI Yogendra Kumar, a case was registered against 10 people including the then Youth Congress State Vice President Divyanshu Budhiraja.

Congress’ Karnal candidate Divyanshu Budhiraja’s advocate Anil Sura said that the police had presented a challan in the court in this case in November. A notice was issued to him by the court. He appeared in the court at around 10 am on Monday.
He appeared in court on Monday and obtained bail. While talking to the media, he said that the government of the then Chief Minister Manohar Lal had registered five cases against him. He is not going to be suppressed.
