Attempt to rob police team in Gurugram, four arrested : The team of CIA Sector-17 has arrested four accused who tried to rob the police team at gunpoint from Gurugram-Faridabad Road. Police have recovered a vehicle, a pistol, a cartridge and iron rods from the accused.
According to the police spokesperson, Inspector Anil Kumar, in-charge of Sector-17 Crime Branch, received information that some youth were planning to commit robbery at gun point on Bandhwadi flyover, Gurugram-Faridabad road. After this a special police team was formed and the police reached the spot. Where a young man parked his car in front of the police car.
After this, three miscreants stopped the police team and tried to rob them with the help of weapons. The police team caught all four accused along with their weapons and vehicle. The accused were identified as Akram Khan resident of Ajji Colony Ballabhgarh (Faridabad), Shivam resident of Tamarora district Etah (Uttar Pradesh), Sanjay resident of Firozpur Jhirka (Nuh) and Faheem resident of Shivpuri Colony Khatoli district Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh). The age of all the accused is between 20-25 years.
The accused told the police that they had brought the car on rent for Rs 3,000 from Ballabhgarh to commit the robbery. The weapon used in the crime was brought by accused Shivam from Etah, Uttar Pradesh for Rs 4,000.
Accused Akram Khan has a scrap shop in Khatauli. He was currently living in Ajji Colony, Ballabhgarh. Accused Sanjay also lives in Ballabhgarh. During this time they became friends with each other. Two cases of rape and under Excise Act have already been registered against accused Shivam in Faridabad.
