Gurugram News! Attack on police team on patrol, investigation started

Stopping the suspects for questioning became a burden on the police team. When the police tried to catch him, a youth attacked him on the head with a sharp object and fled from the spot. The police team caught two youths on the spot.

On the complaint of the police team, Bajgheda police station has registered a case and started investigation against other accused. The injured constable has been admitted to the civil hospital for treatment. Late on Thursday night, a team of the police station was on night patrolling on Dwarka Expressway.

The team received information that four people riding on a bike had set out from Sarai Alaverdi to commit some criminal act. Policemen present on rider number 60 were also called and blockade was done. After some time a motorcycle was seen coming. The policemen pointed. But after seeing the policemen, they turned the motorcycle and started running away. During this time the bike went out of control and the accused started running away on foot.

Policemen arrested three youths. Then suddenly a young man hit constable Praveen on the head with a sharp weapon and ran away. While two were controlled by the police team. The two arrested accused were identified as Bijendra alias Koki, resident of Jind and Karambir, resident of Rohtak. On checking the bag found near Koki, two screwdrivers, an iron rod and some coins were found in it. Initial investigation has revealed that this is a gang of thieves.
