Gurugram. The Transport Department has provided the facility of buses to the passengers on local routes including various districts.
Roadways buses are being operated on the routes as per the need of the passengers. Roadways bus service has been started from Gurugram depot to Ghamdoj village,
The villagers of Ghamdoj village had demanded from Haryana Transport Minister Moolchand Sharma during a public dialogue program on September 9 to run buses from the city to the village. On the demand of the villagers, the Transport Minister had assured to operate roadways buses in two days. The officials of Gurugram Bus Depot have completed the process related to this route and have started operating the roadways bus.
On Tuesday morning at 7.30 am, Sarpanch Sadhana Rani broke the coconut and flagged off the roadways bus from the martyr memorial of Ghamdoj village. This bus will start from Martyr Memorial of Ghamdoj village, go from Subhash Chowk via HUDA City Center and reach Gurugram Bus Stand via Government Girls College located in Sector-14. The bus will return to Ghamdoj on this route. The bus will depart from Gurugram depot at 6.50 am and reach Ghamdoj at 7.00 am.
It will leave for Gurugram depot from Martyr Memorial of Ghamdoj village at 30.30. Sadhna Rani, Sarpanch of Ghamdoj village, said that running of roadways bus from the village will provide great convenience to the students as well as other villagers in commuting to Gurugram. He said that the Transport Minister has also fulfilled the demand of permanent bus stand in Ghamdoj on paper and stopping of all the roadways buses of Haryana Transport Department at the stand.
