Gurugram News: Four arrested for robbing diesel from truck drivers at gunpoint

Gurugram. The CIA Manesar team has arrested four miscreants of the interstate gang who looted diesel by taking the drivers of trucks parked on the highway at gunpoint.

The police team has disclosed this during the investigation of the case registered eight days ago in Bilaspur. The accused have confessed to 100 such incidents within two years. The police did not register such cases. The CIA team will take the accused on remand for three days and recover the vehicles used by the people buying diesel. It is a challenge for the police to find out the cases which are still not being registered.

ACP Crime Varun Dahiya said that four miscreants looted 400 liters of diesel at gunpoint eight days back from two truck drivers sleeping on the highway in Bilaspur police station area. After its investigation, the CIA Manesar team came to know that Abid, resident of Seemapuri, Delhi, Firoz Khan, resident of Shalimar, Ghaziabad, Khalid, resident of Dilshad Garden, Delhi and Aurangzeb, resident of Nidori village, Ghaziabad, had committed the crime.

Lalit, in-charge of CIA Manesar told that the mastermind of the gang is Delhi resident Khalid. The gang has confessed to carrying out more than 100 incidents so far. This gang used to be active from Mathura Road to KMP and on the highways of Delhi, Jaipur and Ghaziabad and most of the incidents have been committed at those places only.
The accused were presented in the court and police remand of five days was sought.

The court has sent him on remand for three days. During interrogation of the miscreants, it has been found that several cases of robbery and theft have been registered against the accused Khalid in Uttar Pradesh. The accused have been active in carrying out such incidents for two years. During the remand, the police will now recover the vehicles used in the robbery, illegal weapons from the possession of the accused as well as try to trace those people.
