Prior to DC Gurugram, the Delhi Police Commissioner had banned other activities including flying drones and paragliding in the national capital. Now the District Collector has instructed to impose Section 144 in Gurugram, adjacent to Delhi.
Immediately after the order was issued by the DC office, the police officers have started taking necessary action while implementing it. Following the orders of the DC, the police officers of Gurugram have started taking strict action after the defects found in two hotels and guesthouses of Kherki Daula, DLF Phase-3 police station area. Keeping in mind the security aspects in Gurugram, District Collector Nishant Kumar Yadav has ordered all cyber cafe operators, PGs, guest houses, hotels, landlords and other offices to keep records of their tenants, servants, visitors and incoming guests with their ID proofs.
Ban on drones, light aircraft and gliders
These orders, issued under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Act, issued by the District Collector of Gurugram, will come into force with immediate effect and remain effective till August 15, 2023. The purpose of imposing section 144 by the administration is to stop any kind of wrong activities and sudden untoward incidents by anti-social elements.
The DC has said in its order that till August 15, there will be a complete ban on the use of drones, micro light aircraft, gliders, hot air balloons, kite flying and Chinese micro lights. Action will be taken under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code against those who do not obey the orders issued by the administration. Also, if needed, they can be arrested and sent to jail.
26 days ban on flying objects
Let us tell you that a few days ago, Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora had issued necessary guidelines for the people living in the capital Delhi, under which flying objects like drones, gliders, hot air balloons should not be allowed in the sky of Delhi for the next 26 days. Has been banned. This ban will be applicable from 22 July to 16 August. CP Delhi has issued this guideline in exercise of powers under Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code 1973, keeping in view the security of VVIPs and prominent establishments of the capital. Violation of this order will be an offense punishable under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
