Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated three industrial units in Yamuna City, Greater Noida, on Saturday, signaling the state’s push to become a hub for electronics manufacturing. The units, developed under the Yamuna City Electronic Manufacturing Cluster, are expected to generate employment for nearly 10,000 youths. The CM highlighted that Uttar Pradesh has already emerged as India’s mobile manufacturing hub and emphasized that the new electronics units will reduce import dependency by enabling domestic exports.
Adityanath stated that the state government has allocated 75,000 acres of land and implemented 36-sector-specific policies to attract investments. He criticized the previous administration, referring to it as a “jungle raj,” while describing the current regime as a “Mangal Raj,” signifying progress. The new industrial cluster near Noida International Airport, he noted, has become a prime example of Uttar Pradesh’s industrial growth, drawing foreign entrepreneurs to establish factories.
Central Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw praised Adityanath’s efforts, stating that the electronics manufacturing cluster has now firmly taken root in the state. The inauguration included Adityanath laying the foundation for units of assetQs Circuit, Ambar Industries, and SEAL, with a combined investment of ₹15,230 crore. The project is projected to create jobs for 10,000 youths, addressing unemployment in the region.
In parallel, Adityanath unveiled the new ₹390 crore Noida Authority office complex and announced the approval of ₹2,478 crore projects during a separate event. The developments underscore Uttar Pradesh’s strategic focus on industrial expansion and infrastructure modernization.
The new Noida Authority office, inaugurated alongside the industrial units, reflects the government’s commitment to administrative efficiency and pollution-free growth. Adityanath emphasized that the state is actively working to replicate the success of its mobile manufacturing sector in electronics, targeting global competitiveness.
The CM’s remarks also included a veiled critique of opposition parties, framing the current governance model as a transformative force against past administrative shortcomings.
