New Delhi: The weather in Delhi-NCR underwent a sudden transformation late Thursday night, catching residents off guard. Dark clouds covered the sky and intense rainfall began, with several areas experiencing dust-laden storms accompanied by thunder and lightning.
The meteorological department had issued an alert warning of storms with wind speeds of 70-90 km/h, potentially reaching up to 100 km/h in some areas over the next three hours. The forecast also predicted lightning strikes, moderate to heavy rainfall, and hailstorms.

People are advised to stay indoors during the bad weather and avoid unnecessary outdoor travel.
