Gurugram: There will be no more traffic jams on the roads of Gurugram! From March, traffic will run on automatic signals at 111 points

Gurugram: There is hope of getting relief from traffic jams and heavy traffic to a great extent by March. From March, traffic will run through automatic signals at 111 points in the city. Under this plan, work has been completed at 90 percent points. 30 percent signals have been connected to the Integrated Command Control Room. Where the cable has not been connected yet, the work will be completed in a month. Signals will be green and red according to the traffic, and if there is heavy traffic at any signal, then the traffic will be diverted through another route from the signal behind it.

The budget has increased by more than Rs 4 crores

Under the plan, 32 points have been connected to the Integrated Command Control Room of GMDA. So far, work has been completed in MG Road, IFFCO Chowk, Bristol Chowk, Golf Course Road, SPR and Bakhtawar Chowk areas. Apart from Sarhaul Toll, IFFCO Chowk, Signature Tower, MG Road, Golf Course Road, Bristol Chowk, SPR, Vatika Chowk, Sohna Road, Basai Chowk, Pataudi Chowk, Umang Bhardwaj Chowk, there is heavy traffic in many areas of the new sector in the city. There is a movement of about three lakh vehicles on Sarhaul, one lakh on Khairki Daula Toll and about 1.5 lakh vehicles on the rest of the main roads every day. Traffic experts also believe that traffic operations will improve after automatic signal lights are started in all areas.
