Now Bhagavad Gita will also be taught in Haryana schools. Under the new education policy, Bhagavad Gita will also be included in the syllabus till class VIII. Apart from this, the Chief Minister has also given instructions to prepare for competitive examinations.
Under the new National Education Policy, Shrimad Bhagwad Gita will be included in the school curriculum till class VIII to make children cultured and provide cultural knowledge in Haryana. Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini gave these orders in an important meeting with the officials of the Basic Education, School Education and Higher Education Department. Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has given strict instructions to the officials to provide quality education in all schools by ensuring the ratio of students and teachers in accordance with the National Education Policy. A new action plan is being prepared to ensure the arrangement of teachers in schools, as a result of which there will be no school left in the state from the upcoming academic session where there is a shortage of teachers. The Chief Minister, who was holding a meeting with Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda, directed the Principal Secretary of the School Education Department, Pankaj Aggarwal, to ensure the ratio of students and teachers in accordance with the National Education Policy.
Preparation for HCS, IAS exams will be done in colleges
While reviewing the Higher Education Department, the Chief Minister directed the officials to submit a report on the infrastructure and facilities in every college, so that any kind of deficiency can be removed as soon as possible. He said that a framework should be prepared to make arrangements for the preparation of competitive examinations through smart class rooms in colleges. So that the children of rural areas can also get better arrangements for the preparation of competitive examinations. He said that the buildings of the colleges which are under construction should be completed as soon as possible. Also, it should be ensured that the students do not face any kind of problem in the classes of these colleges running in other alternative buildings till the construction of the buildings is completed. The Chief Minister directed that solar panels should be installed on the college buildings. The arrangement of boundary wall, water and toilet in every college, all kinds of arrangements related to the repair of buildings should be ensured continuously as per the need.
Every child should be tracked
The Chief Minister said that every child studying in schools should be tracked to see which institution he is studying in after 12th class. If any child is studying outside Haryana, then information about him should also be kept so that no child of the state is deprived of the basic right to education. While giving instructions to the officials, the Chief Minister said that the present state government has resolved to establish reading rooms in cities to provide quality reading material to the children. In this direction, a big reading room should be established in Panchkula on priority basis so that the students of Panchkula do not have to go to Chandigarh.
