Gurugram School Update: Poison in Gurugram’s air is not less, know whether schools will open or remain closed

Gurugram Pollution Due to rising pollution, all schools in Gurugram will remain closed on November 25. Online classes will be conducted for students up to class 12th. District Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar has taken this decision in view of the severe level of Air Quality Index (AQI). This step has been taken keeping in mind the health and safety of children.

Gurugram Pollution: In view of the rising pollution level and the current situation, schools will remain closed on November 25. On Sunday, District Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar has given instructions that all physical classes till class 12th will be closed on November 25.

The orders said that the Air Quality Index (AQI) level is in the severe category in almost all urban and rural areas of the district. This decision has been taken in the interest of the health and safety of children. Online classes will be conducted in schools on Monday as well.

Action will be taken if school opens

District Basic Education Officer Muni Ram said that the DC’s instructions have been sent to the government and private school principals through all the block education officers. It is mandatory to follow the rules. If any school is found open, action will be taken against them as per the rules.

He has appealed to parents that if for any reason they are not able to provide online classes to their children, then they should provide classes to the children on mobile phones of other children nearby so that studies are not disrupted.

Gwal Pahari records AQI above 300

Even after the wind has started blowing, the AQI has not decreased much. On Sunday morning, 302 was recorded in Gwalpahari area, 208 in Terigram and 203 in Vikas Sadan. During the afternoon, when the wind became strong, the average level of pollution came down below 200, but it increased again by evening.

Grep-four still applies

This is the situation when the pressure of vehicles on the roads was very less on Sunday. Due to the implementation of GRAP 4, many types of activities are completely closed. Environmental activist Rajan Sharma says that the level of pollution will reduce only when better efforts are made simultaneously to control it in the entire NCR.

Efforts must begin early

The problem is that efforts are started only when the situation becomes serious. When it is known that the pollution level increases with the arrival of winter, then why are efforts not made beforehand. Let us tell you that after the pollution level increased, sprinkling of water on roads and trees has been started. Emphasis is being laid on providing the facility of anti-smog gun.
