Gurugram news: In Sector 17-18 police station area, on Monday morning at 5 o’clock, a high-speed Brezza car lost control and hit a divider on the Iffco Chowk flyover on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway and overturned. A student driving the car died in the accident, three friends sitting in it were seriously injured. All three are being treated at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. The cause of the accident is believed to be drowsiness.
The deceased student has been identified as 25-year-old Adarsh ​​Kumar, a resident of Patel Nagar in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh. It is said that he was studying at Frankfinn Institute while living in Mubarakpur, Delhi.
He was returning from Delhi-Gurugram Expressway
Adarsh ​​had come to Gurugram on Sunday night with three friends in a Brezza car for personal work. At five in the morning, he was returning from the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway. Eyewitnesses said that the car went out of control on the Iffco Chowk flyover and hit the divider and overturned on the expressway itself. The car remained lying like this for about 15 minutes.
Police reached the spot
On information from people, ambulance and police reached the spot. The car was removed from the expressway and parked on the road below and traffic was restored. All four were taken to the civil hospital. Here doctors declared Aadarsh ​​dead and referred the other three to Delhi considering their critical condition.
Injured not identified, admitted in ICU
However, the three injured have not been identified yet. They are being treated in the ICU. Police believes that the reason for this accident was drowsiness. Police handed over Aadarsh’s body to his relatives after postmortem.
