Hooda faction against alliance with AAP
The Congress is also in talks with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on seat sharing for the Haryana assembly elections and tough bargaining is going on from both sides. The Congress has been engaged in intense deliberations for the last few days to explore the possibility of an alliance with the AAP for the Haryana elections, although some of its leaders have objected to the alliance with the Arvind Kejriwal-led party. Sources said that the Hooda faction and some other leaders are against seat sharing with the AAP. According to these leaders, Kejriwal’s party does not have any special base in Haryana.
